- Reservations: All bookings made through our website or by contacting us directly are subject to availability. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your reservation.
- Payment: Full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking, depending on the service or property you are reserving. Any outstanding balance must be paid before your scheduled service begins, according to the specific payment terms provided in your booking agreement.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, wire transfers, and other secure payment methods outlined during the booking process.
- Security Deposit: Certain bookings, such as villa or yacht rentals, may require a security deposit. The amount and payment method will be communicated at the time of booking and is fully refundable, minus any damages or additional charges.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation by the Customer: Cancellations must be made in writing and submitted to us by email. Refunds are provided based on the specific terms of the property or service booked:
- 60+ days before arrival: Full refund, minus a cancellation fee.
- 30-59 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less than 30 days: No refund.
- Cancellation by Book Baja: In the rare event that we must cancel your booking, you will be notified as soon as possible and will be entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- Force Majeure: Book Baja is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
4. Rental Conditions
- Villas: All villa guests must adhere to the house rules provided upon arrival. Failure to comply with these rules may result in additional charges or eviction without refund. Smoking and pets may be prohibited in certain properties; please refer to the specific villa’s rules.
- Yacht Charters: Charter guests are expected to follow all safety regulations as outlined by the crew. The use of onboard equipment, water toys, and other amenities is at the guest’s own risk.
- Damage and Theft: Guests are responsible for any damage or theft that occurs during their stay or charter. Book Baja reserves the right to deduct any related costs from the security deposit or charge additional fees.
5. Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, delays, medical expenses, and personal property. Book Baja is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during your trip.
